Hello! I am shamelessly self promoting myself again! This time, I’m here to let you know that I am officially selling my books online. What’s that you ask? What books? I had a feeling you may have forgotten! (Please note that linked post is a bit out-dated. They turned out 100x better than I ever could have expected [The bookmarks + first page especially]. I almost wanted to keep every single one, because having them all lined up looked really sexy).

Selling them at the show was way more successful than I ever could have expected! I sold about half of them, so now it only makes sense I try and get rid of them online.
My blood & sweat have (literally) gone into each book. No tears though, because it was pretty fun. I wrote it, I laid it out, I lugged 40 copies home from Trenton, I folded every single page, I punched every single hole (one page at a time, thank you $10 hole-punch!) I bound and tied each spine, I collaged every book-mark, I cut and pasted every single thing. I even pressed all the books to ensure they didn’t lose their crisp shape. The only thing I didn’t do, I suppose, was take the old images in the book that may date back to 1949….obviously).
The introduction of each book has a different image from my grandmother’s* collection underneath the question: “WHAT DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT CHILDHOOD?”
——-

(Fun Fact: Contrary to popular belief, the girl in the above photo is not me. It’s my mom.)

With that said, this book is, for lack of a better term: My Child. If you would like one, please use this listing. For a limited time, I’ll be throwing in some original pen & ink drawing(s), and a free print.
Also to note: I have thirty copies available now. I have seven of them READY TO GO, and twenty-three of them that need to be bound. I just listed a few on Etsy because I hate being charged for quantity of the same item, and also because each book is completely unique to itself, and I kinda like the mystery. What’s with that? And why did it take a $16 Etsy bill for me to figure that out? Anyway, I’ll renew as I go.
P.S. Thanks Julia, for reminding me that I said I was gonna do this. :)
*most of the old photographs are from my Dad’s side of the family, with the exception of a few that were taken from a roll of film my mom took in the early 70’s.
